Storyline

Writer Sagar Sharma is in love with a much younger woman named Barkha. When Sagar meets his ex-wife, Neelima, she tells him that Barkha is her daughter. Perturbed that he is dating his ex-step-daughter, Sagar disbelieves her and continues to have his affair with Barkha. And then Neelima tells him that she had an affair with his elder brother, and that Barkha is his daughter. Sagar will now to decide to end this affair, as neither the community nor his very own brother will permit him to have an affair with his own niece.

• This film was. the fourth film and. last film Amarjeet, Nalanda"s produced with Dev Anand. Amarjeet and also Yash Johar and Amit Khanna were working in the office of. Dev Anand's production company Navketan.

• After Prem Shashtra, after about of the gap of 7 years, Amarjeet had produced the Sunjay Dutta"s debut film Rocky which was directed by Sunil Dutt and in 1984 he produced Sunny with Raj Khosla as director. The in 1984/85, Amarjeet was to produce Angrez, with Ramesh Behl as director. The srarcast was Rohan Kapoor, Karan Shah, Farha and Mandakini. All newcomers at that time. Angrez was shelved.
