• Santullano High School is in true Colegio de Huérfanas Recoletas de Oviedo (Recoletas Orphan Sisters School from Oviedo), founded in 1558 and open as school until middle of the 20th century. Actually it houses the Oviedo University's rectory. It's located on the San Francisco Street, close to the downtown park Campo de San Francisco and La Escandalera plaza.

• Logos, bar restaurant where teachers and students met to drink and talk, closed in 2005.

• In one episode, Pablo (Javier Bardem) and his friends are talking close to a train station. It was the Estación del Vasco (Basque Station), which was demolished in 1989. Actually it's a bar area and a subway parking.
