The 16 March 2001 draft of the screenplay lists David Zucker and Peter Tilden as writers. Tilden is not credited in the final film and Zucker only receives a directing credit.

At around the 47 minute mark, as Ken is berating George and tells him to leave the room, he goes to leave the room after Tom goes to the house that O.J. the owl flies into, he hits the table in the hallway with his wheelchair. Ashton Kutcher breaks character and tries to hide his laughter behind his fist. You can clearly see his shoulders moving as he's laughing.
