Did you know
• Although this was a South Korean film production, the cast was made up of Occidentals in the hopes of getting a very lucrative U.S. release. Even with a re-release with upgraded special effects and a new title ("Reptilian"), the film only achieved a U.S. release on home video and some cable TV showings.
• A deleted subplot for the film involving Bud Black had the reporter getting a hold of the aliens' secrets of genetic resurrection, the same method used to bring Yonggary back to life, and returning to the archaeological site with its cave of dinosaur fossils. Supposedly, Bud Black was to be the antagonist of Yonggary 2, the planned sequel that was never made.
• This was the most expensive South Korean film production up to that time.
