• Tara Spencer-Nairn said she, Kira Clavell and Lindy Booth researched their roles as masseuses by meeting a couple of girls who work at massage parlors. One of them took them to a massage room and showed them the technique. She said they ask clients if they need powder, and then she demonstrated how they use their hands to get the male clients to have an erection without actually touching their penis. Then the girls ask clients if they want a hand job which costs extra.

• Director Sooo Lyu did a lot of research on "rub and tug" massage parlors, including going to locations and videotaping interviews with girls who work at them.
