Did you know
• Several spells make their only appearance in the game, and are not seen in the films. These include: Flipendo, Skurge, and Avifors among others.
• This game was re-released for the PS2 in 2003, after the next title in the series (Chamber) had already got a PS2 release. This is because when the game for the PS1 proved a massive success (as had the film), it was decided that rather than do a straight forward port to the next console, a whole new game would be created from scratch, coinciding with releases on other then new consoles, Xbox and Gamecube. In the meantime the second film in the series was released, which made it necessary to finish its accompanying game first.
• There are a total of 5 different versions of this game, each of them are completely original & different from one another. There's the Game Boy Color version, the Game Boy Advance version, the PlayStation 1 version, PC/Mac version & finally the XBOX Original/PlayStation 2/ GameCube version.
