Title changes again to "Probe and Night Beat" with Howard Whitman and John Wingate from December 2, 1957 to February 27, 1958, Monday thru Friday). Then reverts back to "Night Beat" hosted by John Wingate from Febrary 28, 1958 to June 6, 1958, Monday thru Friday. (Originally also known as "Mike Wallace's Night Beat" and sometimes spelled "Nightbeat"). -Note: Precursor to the TV series "The Mike Wallace Interview".
