Did you know
• Alhough the movie has no songs, a separate soundtrack album of the movie was released to promote the movie - a first for a Hindi-language Bollywood film. This, however, did not work, and the soundtrack sales were disappointing despite the success of the movie.
• The film broke several rules of Bollywood formula films and was nonetheless successful. There were no songs, it was only two hours long, it was heroine-centered, and it was a horror story, not a love story.
• Abhishek Bachchan was earlier offered the role of Fardeen Khan but he opted out as his schedule was clashing with LOC 2003.
