Thawrat el-Madinah
Fatmah's mother dies when she gives birth to her. Her father observes that women in her family die when they give birth to their first child. Fatmah lives captive to her father's wrong idea that if she marries and has children, she will die and her destiny will be like that of her mother. To avoid her this fate, her father keeps her away from any man.
