Did you know

• When the film was launched it was supposed to be made in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi at the same time. The Hindi version was titled "Jo Chahaa Ho Jaye", while the Malayalam version was titled "Raakilipattu". They decided to scrap the Hindi version. The film was later dubbed in Hindi and given another title, "Friendship". The Malayalam version had a low-key release in 2007.

• The dubbed Hindi version "Friendship" did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
