• The creators said that the four crossover chapters were inspired by the trailers for the original movie, which showed Stitch appearing in other Disney films.

• The only voice actors to not reprise their roles from Lilo & Stitch (2002) in the tv spinoff are Jason Scott Lee as David Kawena, Ving Rhames as Cobra Bubbles (although he did do so in the show's pilot and finale films), and Miranda Paige Walls as Mertle Edmonds.
