Did you know
• After the Mithun Chakraborty, Shoma Anand, Vikram and Raj Kiran starer Patita (1980) the director I.V.Isasi made Anokha Rishta.
• This was director I.V. Sasi's remake of his own Malayalam film "Kanamarayathu" (1984). P. Padmarajan's story for the Malayalam film was itself adapted from Jean Webster's novel "Daddy-Long-Legs" (1912). The same idea was previosly used in Sharafat Chodh Maine and later in Lamhe.
• Stories of Sabeeha claiming molestation against Rajesh Khanna, was all over the media. Sabeeha and her mother claimed that during the shooting of the film, Rajesh Khanna called out to the director "Kyon Sasi saab, aaj narial phod de?". This was meant as for Rajesh Khanna to be Sabeeha's first man. Rajesh Khanna later claimed that Sabeeha and her mother were only looking for publicity. He claimed Ameeta came to his office and Ameeta offered her daughter Sabeeha to him. He kicked them out and this was when the false story started.
