• The performance at the Knebworth Festival would be the band's last appearance in England. While rehearsing for an upcoming North American tour beginning in October 1980, drummer John Bonham died in his sleep from pulmonary oedema after a day of heavy drinking.
• The DVD cover features West Mitten Butte, photographed from the visitor centre at the Navajo Tribal Park located at Monument Valley, Arizona, during sunset. Monument Valley has been the location for many Western films. Led Zeppelin released the triple live album 'How the West Was Won' at the same time as the 'DVD'.
• A total of 132 cans of film, two sets of two-inch video tape, and a collection of archival television footage were used for the project.
