• The song "Broken Things" which was sung by Julie Miller at the end of the film, was performed at the memorial service for the Omagh bomb victims by local singer Juliet Turner.
• Out of respect for the victims families and the other survivors, the producers opted not to shoot any portion of the movie in Omagh. Instead it was shot on location in Navan, County Meath, Republic of Ireland.
