• A scene in the movie theater where Joni is describing 10 types of moviegoers contains one long take. But the censorship board of Indonesia snipped the shot as it shows two people kissing with their tongues visible. The director went through a three-hours debate with board to leave the shot uncut to no avail.

• The director planned to have Erly Ulil playing a pregnant woman in all of his movies as a trademark but the actress broke her leg the night before her shooting day and had to be replaced. The director asked Adetasha, an assistant to the costume designer, to take her place.

• In the scene where the Taxi driver, his pregnant wife, and Joni arrive at the hospital, you can see the two of the doctor names on the board written as "Dr. Joko" and "Dr. Niko Putra" referring to Nicholas Saputra and Joko Anwar
