• The game is based on what happens between seasons 2 and seasons 3 of the TV series.
• The plot line involving hostiles taking over CTU, executing hostages, and having Kim Bauer elude them by crawling through air ducts was later recycled and used in the television series 24 (2001). In the series, however, it was Jack's nephew Josh eluding the hostiles.
