Did you know

• The filmmakers filmed three different endings to the film, each with a different character as the killer.

• The film's original setting was New Orleans. During pre-production, Hurricane Katrina struck; the script was quickly rewritten to take place in New York City.

• When Rowena finds Miles "secret" room, a shot of Miles computer flashes briefly on the screen, showing a picture of Rowena's head pasted over a body in a bathing suit. The body pasted over is in fact Halle Berry herself from her infamous nude scene in the movie Swordfish (2001). The bathing suit only appeared in the edited-for-television version of the film.
