Storyline

Buster is taken captive by crazed animal lover Elmyra (her big debut), and finds she's been holding other Tiny Toons hostage for "years". With Babs' help, Buster and the other toons manage to escape Elmyra's house and deal with her in true cartoon style.

Did you know

• This episode was one of several animated by Kennedy Cartoons, which was notorious for delivering poor work (bizarre facial expressions, overuse of squash-and-stretch) and requiring time-consuming retakes. This may explain the "We need more animators" comment in the credits.

• This was the first episode sent to production.

• Glen Kennedy animated the majority of this episode, which is evident by the similar to style to his animation direction on many season 1 episodes of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (1988). Only a small number of sequences were animated by other artists, such as the "playing doctor" scene, and some of the bits in Elmyra's bedroom and in her backyard after escaping.
