• "Arthur and the Great Adventure" is a UK-only release, an edit of the second and third films, Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard and Arthur 3: The War of the Two Worlds (2010).
• Madonna did not reprise her role and was recast by Selena Gomez. Many rumors speculate that she is not returning, as she has not officially stated why she did not return. One rumor suggests that the first film did poorly at the box office and met poor reviews, so Madonna did not want to participate in the project. Another suggestion is that Selena Gomez's name was so similar to the Character that they insisted she take it instead of calling Madonna. The last rumor suggests that it was due to a lack of budget for Madonna to reprise her role, and at the time, Selena Gomez was the cheapest option.
