Did you know
• Shot on film, the special was believed to be lost for many years, with only a commercial for the broadcast surviving. Subsequently, a weathered kinescope print was unearthed, made available for viewing at the Paley Center in New York, and surreptitiously made its way online before being released on DVD by MPI Home Video in 2022.
• The Munster "family" drove to Marineland in the signature Munster Koach, decked out in full costumes and makeup. They hit the road at rush hour and traffic slowed more than usual due to onlookers leering at the famous cast.
• This is the third of five annual Marineland Easter specials (sandwiched between years headlined by The Beverly Hillbillies). Four of them were called "Marineland Carnival," but the 1963 show was titled "Arthur Godfrey Loves Animals."
