• On Monday, 14th February 2022, ITV announced that they have commissioned Bandicoot Scotland to produce a fourth and fifth series of the British version of the singing/guessing contest.

• Season 2 winner Joss Stone wanted to preform barefoot but couldn't;her bare feet are a trademark and would have immediately given away her real identity on-stage.

• During the season premier of Series 7 the Masked Singer UK editors removed the Red Panda's performance from the episode. While it was filmed months prior, Red Panda had sang "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps. ITV cut the segment due to sensitive lyrics deemed inappropriate following a deadly fire in a Swiss bar, choosing to avoid any association with the tragedy. The character remained in the competition.
