• Is a remake of the 1981 movie 'Ratu Ilmu Hitam', starring Indonesia's most notorious scream queen, Suzzanna.

• The tortures endured by the characters in the movie are reminiscent of a hugely popular series of comics in Indonesia which depicts all kinds of hell tortures.
