• I have so many questions about this movie - What are the red lights supposed to do, as it clearly isnt about a "memorial" as offered in the movie. Why did the kids that got murdered get to 'pass over' except for Max? Why did Max and the kids on the bus get stuck 'in limbo'? Was it something to do with the river? Why did the cops cover up Max's murder? Why did they cover up James Lipton's murder? Who even killed James Lipton - it was implied that it was someone in the cane, but we only saw kids? Is Simpkins supposedly still in the cane too? Elly spoke of identifying Violets body after they were recovered from the river, so you can assume that she was either buried or cremated afterwards, so how is it that her body is roaming the cane field?
