• This project originally titled "Taong Lobo" was for Robin Padilla and Kristine Hermosa in 2006 but Padilla transferred to rival station GMA Network, which is why the project was temporarily shelved. Earlier in 2007, John Lloyd Cruz announced that this will be his project with Anne Curtis. It didn't materialize because they were busy with Book 2 of Maging Sino Ka Man.
• This is Angel Locsin's first ever show in ABS-CBN after she transferred from GMA Network. This is also his first team-up with Piolo Pascual in a series, although they have been paired before in various commercials and endorsements.
• From "Taong Lobo", the title was changed to "La Loba Blanca" and finally to "Lobo"
