• The Covid-19 pandemic caused the Young Artist Academy to produce its 41st Awards Show digitally as a virtual event.
• The coronavirus pandemic of 2020 halted most entertainment productions for a time. A silver lining however, was that many adult alumni and celebrities who support the Academy were finally available to participate in the 41st Show from home quarantine.
• Highlighting a rekindled appreciation for loved ones after an especially difficult year, 2020 Special Award Recipients & Presenters were selected to emphasize the "Family-like" relationships developed working in the Entertainment Industry.
