• Due to poor ratings for this show and The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien (2009), NBC wanted to move this show to 11:35 pm and shorten it to a half-hour, bumping "The Tonight Show" to 12:05 AM. O'Brien refused to allow this and quit "The Tonight Show". Leno's show was cancelled and Leno returned to "The Tonight Show".
