• Amanda Schull played a dead wife/ghost on One Tree Hill (2003). She played Sara, Clay Evans' (Robert Buckley) wife who suddenly died in front of him. She visited him routinely until he finally accepted her death.

• The lighthouse shown in the film is on Bald Head Island, and is know as Old Baldy. It was built in 1817, and no longer functions as a lighthouse. But it is open for limited tours. Contrary to the perspective in this film, the lighthouse is located several miles across the water from the house used for filming the Palace.
