Did you know

• Rutger Hauer lost his balance and fell when climbing out of the shopping cart. Director Jason Eisener decided to keep it in the movie.

• For the scene in which Logan (Robb Wells) is decapitated, one of the bystanders was a former blind man, who had recently had corrective surgery. One of the first images he saw as a newly sighted man was that of the decapitation and the subsequent sexy dance in the shower of blood.

• David Brunt, who played the Hobo in the original Grindhouse (2007) trailer, appears as a shotgun-wielding dirty cop in the scene where the cops go out to hunt down the hobos. He screams, "We're all dirty cops!" He was offered the chance to reprise his role as the Hobo for this movie, but was hesitant about it, believing he would not be able to carry an entire movie on his own. Rutger Hauer was then cast when Brunt turned down the role.
