ā¢ The film was previously titled " Shor", but Manoj Kumar refused to part with the title. Manoj Kumar has the rights to the title " Shor".
ā¢ The makers had got the script and dialogues ready much before the production of the first movie '99', but they weren't sure about the treatment to give to it. So they decided to make a short out of it and cast Pitobhash in it. His role was liked so much that he landed a role in 99 and later as Mandu in the feature release.
