• Keihan Popal, who plays the role of Jaweed, does not act for a living but is an economics student in his daily life. This is his first screen appearance.
• Some parts of the story are autobiographical. Director Wiam Al-Zabari once fled from Iraq to The Netherlands and that is where he first discovered his love for both film and dance.
