Did you know

Was originally going to be called L.A. Noir, but was changed so as not to be confused with the Rockstar video game with a similar name and setting.

Edward Burns would go on to create a series of his own, Public Morals (2015), dealing with police and criminals in New York City during the 1960s. His co-star from this series, Neal McDonough, joined him once again as his rival. Ironically, in that series, Burns is the police officer, and McDonough is the criminal.

In the trailer, while different scene stills are flashing, one in particular happens to be of real life mobster Bugsy Siegel slumped over on his couch riddled with bullet holes after his assassination.
