• This film is based on a true sighting by a surfing documentary crew.
• The film is based around a story the Director heard whilst visiting the town of Nowhere Else, in which a group of documentary filmmakers reported that while shooting a project in the area, they were attacked by a bat the size of a human.
• Since official "Nowhere Else" road signs are often stolen, the Director had to make his own in order to feature one in the film.
