• Over the years, "Soulmates," which originally was titled "Sweet Dreamers" was optioned by Diane Ladd, MGM-Pathe' of Dan Andresen & Paul Bagley . However, James was adamant about portraying the lead character of Steph, claiming that this project was his "Rocky." Moreover, James never sold the Rights to "Soulmates" with the intention of Directing the project, with actor Jadon Cal Fitzpatrick, his son, playing the role of Steph.
