• This series has already been renewed for a second season.
• The series is produced by Trip Friendly, whose father Ed Friendly produced the original Little House on the Prairie (1974).
• Sony first began developing a reboot of Little House on the Prairie (1974) in 2012, with Scott Rudin to produce, but studio chairman Tom Rothman scrapped it over budgetary concerns. Paramount then picked up the project in 2016, with Abi Morgan to write and Sean Durkin to direct, but this version also failed to materialize. Netflix finally approved the series in 2025.
