Storyline

Bruno, Max, Leo, and identical twins Emil and Oskar are five friends from Hamburg in their early twenties. In both their professional and personal lives, they are prone to making poor decisions that constantly lead to awkward situations.

Did you know

• The show was preceded by a web series of the same name, fifteen episodes of which were produced between 2017 and 2020 and uploaded to YouTube (they have since been deleted). The creators, who were still in school when they began filming the videos, were inspired by the show Jerks (2017) and hoped to get the attention of its star Christian Ulmen. They were eventually successful, as the professionally made version is a co-production between their own company Kleine Brüder and Pyjama Pictures, which produces Jerks.

• On the show as well as in real life, Bruno Alexander, Emil Belton, Oskar Belton, and Leonard Fuchs graduated from Emilie-Wüstenfeld-Gymnasium in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel in 2018. Two episodes of the second season were filmed at the school.
