Did you know
• Like the previous film, The Trip (2010), Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan improvised their scenes together.
• Rob and Steve play Alanis Morissette's album Jagged Little Pill as they drive to the various restaurants in the film. This led to the album re-entering the UK charts at No. 40, selling just under 2000 copies in the week.
• In one scene Rob Brydon comments that Tom Hardy couldn't do what he does. In the film Locke (2013), Hardy plays a man with a strong Welsh accent filmed entirely through dash-cams while driving and the audience watches his life and marriage collapse. Brydon's breakthrough performance was in Marion & Geoff (2000), a TV show fitting the same description.

On the exact same formula as The Trip
If You Liked the First, You'll Like This One as Well
While Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon are fun and draw some solid laughs from the limitations of the premise, this particular trip is still baggy and self-indulgent
