Chip Chip: Chopin par Desjardins
-Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) had a short but tumultuous life. Forced to leave Poland by the Russian invasion, his career took off when he settled in France. Greatly influenced by this artist who moved him so much, songwriter Richard Desjardins takes to the road for Europe: from Warsaw to Paris via Nohant, where the artist lived for many years in the company of writer George Sand, Desjardins retraces the journey of the "Polish Mozart". Lulled by melancholy pieces performed by virtuoso interpreters, the documentary follows the flowering of a musical genius, from his birth to his death and final resting place in the Père Lachaise cemetery.
