⢠Despite being nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and picked up for distribution in 24 countries, the film could not find a U.S. distributor due to its subject matter. However, the film had a limited theatrical release in the U.S. on January 31, 2025 through Cinetic Media, which facilitated bookings via Michael Tuckman Media.
⢠The documentary was edited in a cave in Masafer Yatta.
⢠Many of those who protested No Other Land winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film cited the October 7, 2023 attack by Hamas. However, the film was shot between 2021 and 2023 and is unrelated to Gaza, though it briefly references the events of October 7 in its final moments. Its focus is the West Bank, which has never been governed by Hamas but by the Palestinian Authority, which holds administrative control there, while Israel retains security control over Area B.
