Did you know
• The mermaid is actually not seen till the last 30 minutes of the film.
• The film's UK title "Killer Mermaids" gives away the ending (and possible sequel hook), since until then there appears to be only one mermaid.
• About 40 minutes into the film there's a quick look at the mermaid's face on Kelly's phone when Kelly takes a picture of what's in the well. All you see is a girl not the mermaid yet.

Surprisingly Fun
OK if you don't expect too much.
This sea creature movie starts out decent but ends with a belly flop
