• Aaron Cole and Thomas E. Richner swam together at Denison University in the late 1990s. The film, conceived by Aaron and inspired loosely by his life experiences, took three years to produce, from initial discussions to its final rendering in July 2024. Aaron and Tom collectively earned 56 All-American honors in Division III swimming, with each achieving the maximum of seven honors every year they competed at nationals. Swimming remains a significant part of their lives; they've competed in Master's Nationals multiple times over the years, and their children are also swimmers.

• The producers would like to acknowledge Michelle Tessier and Anthony Scalmato for their crucial role in helping Cap City Studios recruit much of the animation talent needed to produce this film.
