Did you know

• Even with filming taking place during the height of BRAT's commercial success, Pete Ohs still found the guerrilla production in Warsaw to be moderately low-key and successfully secretive. Fans of Charli XCX would sometimes recognize her on the street, but they never fully disrupted the shoot's flow. Charli had no security present, as she believed it would only bring more unwanted attention to filming.

• Pete Ohs wanted to make a film in Poland after moving to Warsaw at the end of 2023. He was introduced to the country through the American Film Festival and the US in Progress program, and found a strong attachment to the city of Warsaw after falling in love with a local woman.

• The Polish narration wasn't included until it was suggested to Pete Ohs by frequent collaborator Albert Birney during the post-production stage, with Birney specifically referencing the use of narration in Jules and Jim (1962). The version sent to the Toronto International Film Festival had a Google Translate voice delivering the voiceover, and they had Jacek Zubiel record official narration once the film was selected.
