• Director/co-writer/producer David A. Prior died in 2015 shortly after filming, which halted the project for years.
• Willa Ford was signed onto the project 2 weeks before the shoot was due to take place but was fired after 5 days into filming by Fabio Soldani. He claimed that she was the fourth choice for the role. Ford was described by him "a nightmare to be around and it made the shoot a really sad place to be for those 5 days". Cynthia Murell was her replacement.
