During a fight, he is wounded, and while unconscious, his soul is in the The Dark Wasteland, where the dead are still clinging to life. Here, he meets a female soul on a journey to be reborn into the Celestial Realm. They both play the same song on their flute. Once awakened, they start looking for each other. However, the prince also falls for the Celestial princess because she is very pretty. The prince keeps her well guarded.
