• Bill Vincent, who plays Jim, taught Sam Raimi during his time as a student at Michigan State University. He went on to appear in several of Raimi's films and was even on set for the original Evil Dead.

• Almost every night time interior scene was shot when there was still daylight and so the houses had to be "blacked out."

• Editor and co-producer Brendan Takash was originally supposed to play the role of the Uber Driver. However, his flight got cancelled the day before production due to the Microsoft outage, and writer/director Benjamin Vomastek filled in.
