• When Legate Lacerta (Macaulay Culkin) meets Lucy he greets her by saying "Ave, profligate". "Ave" is Latin for "hail" which basically means "be well", and is a commonly used greeting/farewell in the Legion. "Profligate" is a derogatory term used by Caesar's Legion for outsiders, enemies (like the NCR), or anyone seen as immoral, dissolute, and wasteful, contrasting with their rigid, disciplined society.

• The Legion is correct about the pronunciation of the word "Caesar" with a hard C as it would have been in ancient Roman Latin. This is also the origin of the word "Kaiser" in German as it was directly borrowed from Roman Latin. Pronouncing Caesar with a soft C was a product of the later Catholic Church's influence on the Latin language.

• During Elder Cleric Quintus' speech, he mentions Roger Maxson as an inspiration behind his motivation for rebellion. Roger Maxson is a character that was first mentioned in Fallout (1997) and was credited as being the founder of the Brotherhood of Steel.
