Did you know

When Legate Lacerta (Macaulay Culkin) meets Lucy he greets her by saying "Ave, profligate". "Ave" is Latin for "hail" which basically means "be well", and is a commonly used greeting/farewell in the Legion. "Profligate" is a derogatory term used by Caesar's Legion for outsiders, enemies (like the NCR), or anyone seen as immoral, dissolute, and wasteful, contrasting with their rigid, disciplined society.

The Legion is correct about the pronunciation of the word "Caesar" with a hard C as it would have been in ancient Roman Latin. This is also the origin of the word "Kaiser" in German as it was directly borrowed from Roman Latin. Pronouncing Caesar with a soft C was a product of the later Catholic Church's influence on the Latin language.

During Elder Cleric Quintus' speech, he mentions Roger Maxson as an inspiration behind his motivation for rebellion. Roger Maxson is a character that was first mentioned in Fallout (1997) and was credited as being the founder of the Brotherhood of Steel.
