• L3-37's memory ends up being uploaded into the Millennium Falcon computer, explaining why the ship has such extensive navigational maps. It also adds a humorous touch to the scene in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) where C-3PO gets plugged into the Falcon to find out what is wrong with the hyperdrive, and tells Han "Sir, I don't know where your ship learned to communicate, but it has the most peculiar dialect." In the radio adaptation of Empire Strikes Back, C-3PO even says he's having difficulty talking to the Falcon's computer because she is "rather rude".

• Harrison Ford revealed that he's seen the movie and thinks it's "phenomenal", but skipped out on the premiere with the rest of the cast because he didn't want to steal Alden Ehrenreich's moment of glory.

• The Millennium Falcon starts to make its classic beeps and boops only after L3-37 has been uploaded into the ship.
