Storyline

• When Virginia Goodman first arrives, Adrián Doria tells her that she's earlier than expected. This is a subtle hint towards the fact that Virginia Goodman may not be who she says she is, and it foreshadows the arrival of the real Virginia Goodman towards the end of the film.

• At 42', Felix asks "Virginia?" over the phone, not sure if it is her on the phone.

• The hotel in The Invisible Guest is made to look somewhat like the Overlook Hotel from Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining, a film where the female protagonist is hunted down by psychopathic lover, just like in The Invisible Guest. Laura even has a similar haircut to The Shining's Wendy Torrance.
