Did you know
• The film was only pushed into production because Dimension Films was about to lose the rights to the Children of the Corn series, the last installment, Children of the Corn: Genesis (2011), having been released more than six years prior. It was shot in Oklahoma, sharing a filming location with Hellraiser: Judgment (2018).
• The movie's subtitle of Runaway references the main characters past but it's also a nod to the Del Shannon song of the same name which is featured in the first Children of the Corn movie from 1984
