ā¢ This is Maddie Baillio's acting debut. She follows the long tradition of the role of Tracy Turnblad onstage and on film being played by a newcomer.
ā¢ Dove Cameron was originally pulled from the role of Amber due to scheduling conflicts with "Liv & Maddie" as well as filming for "Descendants 2". She was later brought in for a dance audition and was re-offered the part to which she accepted.
