The filmmakers worked with CBS Digital to remaster thirty minutes of the original film negatives, and also reproduced a portion of the main battle sequence from Sacrifice of Angels (1997). The filmmakers have stated a goal of this project is to convince CBS to remaster Deep Space Nine in high definition.
